    The Vehicles

XT COLD: A Suzuki SJ413 4x4 vehicle. Born around 1989, this quality off-road vehicle in striking camoflague livery has a full complement of wheels and is augmented by attractive home-brewed wiring in various places. With an impressive dent:bodywork ratio, this comes already 'work-hardened' for the rigours of the Dark Continent.

Update: New paint job roaring success, as you can see. Whether this makes it less likey to be shot at is another matter... an update of the associated fundraising is on its way.

ALEX'S AMBULANCE: Here she is... don't know much about her till I get the details from Alex but looks like a Transit to me. Apparently, we're allowed to take a RHD vehicle as long as it's an ambulance, in case you were wondering.

Update: Apparently it's a big old 2.8 L petrol so should, relatively speaking, go like the clappers and drink like Olly Reed on the plane back from a holiday in Saudi. Bullet-proof though.

UPDATE: Now equipped with stretchers wheel chairs and spine board. In addition, we've already had generous donations from NT staff of axle stands, trolley jack, jerry cans, medical equipment (splints, crutches etc) and a set of spare wheels.
